About PHINE
by Josephine
At the heart of Phine Ceramics lies a deep love for connection - to ourselves, to each other and to the emotions that move us.
Based in Hamburg, Germany, Phine Ceramics was founded by Josephine, a clinical psychologist and ceramicist whose work is more than just a collection of handmade pieces. It’s an invitation to slow down, to feel and to be present. Whether through clay or conversation, Josephine is drawn to moments that allow space for emotion - to hold, express and transform it.
Phine Ceramics is also about shared experience. Josephine finds great joy in teaching pottery - in guiding others to discover the magic of creating something with their own hands, while gently tuning in to how it feels. Whether working with clay or holding space for emotions in her therapeutic practice, Josephine is always guided by the same intention: to make room for what we feel. Teaching pottery workshops is an extension of that, a way to share the joy of making, connecting, and simply being together.
The collection ranges from functional tableware to sculptural pieces, designed to bring not only beauty and utility into your home, but also a gentle invitation to slow down and tune in.
