Introduction to Ceramics

Membership Preparation - all the basics you need to start your ceramics journey.

This course takes place at the studio of Anna Morgado in Hamburg and is taught by Phine. It was designed as a smooth introduction for those who are interested in starting their ceramics journey and preparing for studio membership.

Introduction to Ceramics is a two-month course focused on wheel-throwing, trimming, glazing and essential studio practices. You will come to the studio once a week to build a solid foundation and become familiar with working at the wheel.

The course is guided with care and adapted to different experience levels. You may share the space with both beginners and more advanced potters, creating a dynamic environment for learning, exchange, and growth.

This two-month format allows time to develop skills while getting comfortable with the studio, its tools and ways of working. After completing the course, participants will be invited to start a studio membership, giving them the freedom to work independently during open studio hours and focus on their own projects.
